David Adcock, MCP, serves as the CEO and administrator of the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission (OUBCC) since March of 2023, to assure the accomplishment of the agency's mission and vision to establish minimum statewide codes affecting or relating to the built environment for the protection of life and property. Prior to his employment with the State of Oklahoma he held the position of the development center manager for 13 years with the city of Oklahoma City, where he administrated the coordination of operational and technical functions of staff engaged in the review, evaluation and coordination of the land development process. He holds 23 national certifications with the International Codes Council (ICC) including Master Code Professional and serves on several national boards and committees for the construction industry.
