Navy re-enlistment
Personnel Specialist 1st Class Cashama Arthur-Frederick renewed her commitment to serving in the Navy for six more years during a re-enlistment ceremony Feb. 26, 2014, on the quarterdeck at Navy Recruiting Command headquarters located at Naval Support Activity Mid-South in Millington, Tenn. Arthur-Frederick joined the Navy in order to follow in the footsteps of her brother and two sisters. She currently serves as a personnel specialist for the Navy's Recruiting Command where she is responsible for the administrative placement of future sailors into job openings. From the headquarters level, she is able to manage the flow of incoming sailors to ensure a smooth transition from basic training to technical training schools in the fleet.
