Orange County, Calif., Executive Steve Neuhaus observed a full exercise drill of the county?s Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Response Team on Saturday, Aug. 9. Neuhaus offered remarks at the start of the 25-person exercise which was held at the Orange County Fire Training Center. The HAZMAT Team responds to the scene of hazardous material incidents to assist local fire departments. It was established in 1981.
