Solids stormwater interceptor

The Solids Stormwater Interceptor (SSI) removes floating debris and settleable solids from a stormwater stream before they enter a detention basin, wetland or collection system. The SSI’s sediment-settling chambers are separated by baffles to remove sediment, floating debris, pollutants and unwanted solids from stormwater. The SSI also contains trash screens to capture larger trash and floating particles. The interceptor can be installed in new or existing stormwater lines or at the end of pipes.
