“We are looking forward to making Dynamo AI’s generative AI solutions more easily accessible to the public sector,” Carahsoft's Brian O’Donnell said in a statement.
Carahsoft Technology Corp. and Dynamo AI announced a partnership to provide generative artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to government agencies.
Carahsoft, a government IT solutions provider based in Reston, Va., said it will serve as Dynamo AI’s master government aggregator and offer its generative AI models to Carahsoft’s reseller partners and contracts vehicles. Dynamo AI, founded in 2021 and based in San Francisco, offers “a holistic approach to GenAI compliance,” designed to help “accelerate enterprise adoption to deploy secure, reliable, and compliant AI applications at scale.”
“By combining our advanced generative AI solutions with Carahsoft’s proven distribution channels, we can support government agencies more effectively as they guardrail AI,” Dynamo AI CEO Vaikkunth Mugunthan said in a statement. “Our solutions are designed to enable AI use cases by providing end-to-end oversight for AI model risk.”
Dynamo AI’s products, DynamoEval, DynamoEnhance and DynamoGuard, are designed to address critical aspects of generative AI implementation for government agencies, according to the company. The company’s services range from privacy, security and compliance risk assessment, risk management strategies and guardrailing for generative AI applications.
Generative AI, or GenAI, is a type of artificial intelligence that uses machine learning from existing data to generate new content or solutions based on what it has learned.
“We are looking forward to making Dynamo AI’s generative AI solutions more easily accessible to the public sector,” stated Brian O’Donnell, vice president of cybersecurity solutions at Carahsoft.
A 2024 survey of local government IT executives found that while 53% were preparing to use AI, 38% felt their local government was “not prepared at all” to safely incorporate the new technology.
“Carahsoft and our reseller partners understand the vital role generative AI plays in protecting government agencies' critical assets,” O’Donnell added. “We are pleased to contribute by simplifying the procurement process for these essential solutions."
Carahsoft’s reseller partners and contracts vehicles include the NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V, Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – Software 2 (ITES-SW2), National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) ValuePoint and OMNIA Partners.
