Cooperative agreement offers abundant choices for playground gear

Two global vendors, GameTime and KOMPAN, have won a U.S. Communities cooperative contract for playground equipment, outdoor fitness equipment, site accessories, surfacing and related products and services.

Two global vendors, GameTime and KOMPAN, have won a U.S. Communities cooperative contract for playground equipment, outdoor fitness equipment, site accessories, surfacing and related products and services. The contract will enable more than 90,000 public agencies nationwide to obtain a variety of equipment and services at the best overall supplier government pricing, without going out for time-consuming bids.

The contract was awarded through a competitive solicitation process conducted by the lead public agency, Charlotte, N.C. The contract term is for five years with a start date of July 1, 2017, with the option to extend the contract for two additional periods of two years each. The contract number for GameTime: 2017001134. The contract number for KOMPAN: 2017001135.
