Steven Santovasi is the director of product at Nearmap and has been with the company since June 2022. He brings more than 15 years of experience in product management, software development and go-to-market strategy to his role, where he drives product vision and roadmap execution for the Nearmap suite of geospatial solutions. Prior to joining Nearmap, Santovasi held various leadership positions at prominent geospatial technology companies. As senior product manager at Esri, he spearheaded product strategy and development for GIS, 3D, BIM and CAD integration for the AEC industry and owner/operators. Before Esri, he served as a senior technology manager at both AvanGrid, a leading sustainable energy company, and Burns & McDonnell, a company that designs and builds critical infrastructure. At Burns & McDonnell, Santovasi developed the company’s Drone Mapping UAV program, incorporating rapid deployment of superlight, low altitude drones for high-resolution imagery, 3D-point cloud data gathering as well as Thermal (IR) and NIR imagery.
