UPPCC New Certifications

The Universal Public Purchasing Certification Council (UPPCC) announces that 196 individuals successfully completed the fall 2011 UPPCC certification examinations administered Oct. 17-29, 2011. The Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) and Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) credentials are recognized throughout the public procurement profession as demonstration of an individual’s comprehensive knowledge of public procurement. Of the 196 newly certified individuals, 137 earned the CPPB certification and 59 earned the CPPO certification. This newest group of professionals brings the total number certified for CPPB and CPPO to 8,769 and 2,068 respectively.
