Selected by the editorial staff of AC&C, this year’s winners reflect the best of community projects completed in 2024 and some dedicated public servants from across the country.
American City & County is proud to announce the winners of its annual Crown Communities and Exemplary Public Servant awards. Selected by the editorial staff of AC&C, this year’s winners reflect the best of community projects completed in 2024 and some dedicated public servants from across the country.
This year’s Crown Communities honorees represent projects focused on community building, from a public library serving as the centerpiece of a downtown development, to campaigns aimed at stroke awareness and helping constituents facing housing issues. Projects in public safety, parks and recreation and government recruitment were also selected.
The 2024 Exemplary Public Servants are stars in their communities including city managers, dedicated civil employees and people looking to the future of artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity in government.
Throughout 2025, we will be presenting stories on each Crown Communities winner and each Exemplary Public Servant here on this site. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners!
