The Washington State Patrol (WSP) has created a Web site to help find people being sought for vehicular assaults, vehicular homicides, and hit and runs; they have felony warrants issued for their arrests.

“We are seeking help from the public to find these people who have fled police and have left numerous families with pain, loss and grief,” says the WSP Criminal Investigation Division’s Captain Brian Ursino. “We want to call attention to this resource for the public’s use and information.”

State Patrol detectives investigated 178 felony collisions last year, and in September 2003 there were 31 suspects wanted on felony collision charges that dated as far back as 1993.

The WSP started an aggressive warrant apprehension program last September and has found and arrested 11 suspects since. Twenty-five suspects are still at large.
