Mobile, truck-mounted SRS-M150 caters to cities, airports, and other snow-filled sites. Melts 150 tons of snow per hr. Boasts savings of 60% or more, compared to traditional snow-hauling methods. Combines closed-loop HTS (Heat Transfer System) with high-pressure water jets to melt snow. Combination prevents escape of exhaust particles into exiting, melted water, ensuring that pollutants do not enter storm drains and harm surrounding environment. Continuous flow of water, along with exiting temperature of melted snow (about 40 F.), stops ice crystals from forming and refreezing. All controls rest inside cab. Product line also includes portable SRS-P100, a trailer-mounted snow melter that can be towed to site via dump truck and used with front-end loaders.
