The bicycles are suited for government and institutional facilities looking for a transportation alternative to vehicles and chain-driven, pneumatic-tire bicycles. The chainless drive shaft eliminates chain failure, which is the greatest cause of industrial bike accidents. The bikes’ solid-polyurethane tires outlast traditional rubber tires and will not deflate or flatten, according to the manufacturer. The rust-resistant bikes have frame-mounted baskets, internal rear brakes, dual kickstands for parking stability, and a seating adjustment knob. The bikes are available for purchase or lease to federal agencies and other government bodies.
