UPPCC new certifications - 1

Correction: A previous version of this article incorrectly stated the number of individuals who successfully completed the spring 2012 UPPCC certification examinations administered May 7-9, 2012. The correct number is 208. Corrected on 1/8/2013.

The Universal Public Procurement Certification Council (UPPCC) announces that 208 individuals successfully completed the spring 2012 UPPCC certification examinations administered May 7-19, 2012. The Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) and Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) credentials are recognized throughout the public procurement profession as demonstration of an individual’s comprehensive knowledge of public procurement. Of the 208 newly certified individuals, 151 earned the CPPB certification and 57earned the CPPO certification. This newest class of professionals brings the total number certified for CPPB and CPPO to 8,921 and 2,125 respectively.
