The Arlington, Texas, City Council has agreed to pay a resident $2.75 million for her home and four acres that are located on the site of the future Dallas Cowboys stadium. Property owner Evelyn Wray, 72, will receive the largest payout made for property for the stadium, according to The Dallas Morning News. The city originally offered Wray $351,000 for the land, and a court-appointed panel later set the value at $1.2 million, but Wray, arguing that the land should be valued at commercial prices, held out for more money.
