DSV2+TURBO is a handheld biometric terminal designed for port security and other federal, state and local applications requiring on-the-spot ID verification. Its 508-dpi fingerprint sensor provides AFIS-quality records for instant biometric processing. The unit processes an array of cards — including PIV, TWIC and CAC — by reading contact/contactless chips on ID documents, such as ID cards, passports and driver’s licenses. Its cardholder-unique identifier smartcard capability authenticates digital ID information. Features include: a high-resolution touchscreen readable in direct and low-light conditions; extended-life battery; barcode scanning; and cellular, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communication options.
