The 65-foot Dauntless RAM Patrol boat is powered by twin MAN diesel engines at 1,100 horsepower, each coupled to ZF gears. It can attain a top speed of 34 knots with a comfortable cruise of 28 knots, and is constructed of all-welded marine-grade aluminum. The vessel features a deep-vee variable deadrise hull that produces a dry and stable ride, according to the manufacturer. Model in photo has been assigned to the Royal Cayman Islands Police Marine Unit, for border protection in helping to prevent drug and illegal immigrant trafficking.
