SeaArk Marine recently delivered the “Cayman Guardian,” a 65-foot Dauntless RAM patrol boat, to the Royal Cayman Islands Police Marine Unit. The patrol boat is to be used for border protection in an effort to fight drug and illegal immigrant trafficking in the Cayman Islands. The vessel is powered by twin MAN diesel engines at 1,100 horsepower each coupled to ZF gears. The patrol boat can attain a top speed of 34 knots with a comfortable cruise of 28 knots.
