Several cities in North Texas recently have passed ordinances that place residency limits on registered sex offenders. Prosper and Rowlett prohibit pedophiles from living within 1,000 feet of schools, parks and day-care centers, and Plano is crafting similar restrictions, according to The Dallas Morning News.
