A group of residents will help the Spanish Fork, Utah, City Council form a new pet ordinance that the residents hope will be less restrictive. Currently the city only allows two pets per household, and this week the council was to vote on a new ordinance that would increase the number to four, according to the Deseret Morning News. However, a group of pet owners complained that the new ordinance, which would require a $25 monthly fee and would set limits on where animals could be kept, was too strict. Three of those pet owners now will help rewrite the ordinance. http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,1249,635213558,00.html
