Cab-operated design makes pothole patching a one-man job
Truck-mounted DuraMaxx pothole patcher uses a patented design with cab-mounted controls, allowing operator to patch from truck cab. Uses proven spray-injection technology, which produces patches that are permanent, waterproof and ready for traffic immediately. Incorporates a 7-yd. aggregate hopper box, high-volume blower and heated emulsion tank. From cab, operator uses a joystick to position boom to repair distressed area. When not in use, boom folds flush with front bumper and does not obstruct operator’s vision. DuraMaxx is powered independently from the truck engine by an 80-hp diesel engine, providing direct drive to blower. Aggregate feed system works solely by gravity and venturi effect to supply a wide range of aggregate sizes to nozzle where 100% emulsion coating is achieved. Hydraulic boom cylinders provide smooth articulation for precise placement. Duraco Inc., Jackson, Miss.
