U.S. Communities announces new food services contract
U.S. Communities has launched a new food product and distribution contract with Premier, Inc., which enables public agencies to continue to realize immediate savings on food service expenditures. Premier provides greater control and predictability of costs through their aggressive national distribution program with partner US Foods.
The Premier Foodservice Program is a proven, 20-year program that will offer great product and process savings to participating agencies. The program takes a comprehensive approach to delivering value, combining sole-source distribution through US Foods and Premier’s aggressive Contracted Manufacturer Agreements (CMA’s). The distribution agreement with US Foods provides agencies an industry leading pricing and incentive structure.
This contract award from lead agency, North Carolina State University, is for five years and five months with the option to extend the contract for two additional two year periods.
