Shindaiwa offers cordless grounds equipment product family (with related video)
Shindaiwa has launched a new cordless product lineup. The first three models in the series are: the Shindaiwa T3000 string trimmer, the EB6000 handheld blower and the DH2000 hedge trimmer. Lithium-ion 56-volt batteries power the products. The equipment is sold exclusively through independent dealers.
The units offer gas-like performance, according to the company. All three pro-grade cordless tools feature powerful brushless motors and use common 56-volt batteries. The lithium Ion batteries come in 2-AHR and 4-AHR sizes.
The tools may be purchased with or without batteries and chargers. As with the company’s gas products, the new cordless line carries 5-year consumer and 2-year commercial warranties. The battery carries a 2-year warranty.
The 2-AHR battery will fully charge in a little over 40 minutes using the accessory rapid charger, and the 4-AHR battery will fully charge in just under 90 minutes. A gauge on the charger illustrates charge status. A series of indicator lights on the battery show the remaining charge life.
For more than 50 years, Shindaiwa has been manufacturing outdoor power equipment for professional users and homeowners around the world. The brand is manufactured by ECHO Incorporated, based in the Chicago suburbs.
