Grounds and turf crossover vehicle line offers versatility (with related video)

The line of Toro Workman GTX utility vehicles can tackle a multitude of maintenance tasks on building grounds, parks and golf courses. The vehicle line combines comfort, control and versatility.

Superintendents and equipment managers can choose from several models to match the right vehicle to their specific needs. Among the options are four- and two-seat configurations, a variety of front- and rear-attachments for garbage cans, hose reels or walk spreaders, and a number of flatbed options to haul bulky materials. Choose from over 300 configurations to fit almost any application.

“The versatility of the GTX allows for a number of different jobs to be completed with a single vehicle,” says Greg Lawrence, senior marketing manager at Toro.

Operation of the Workman GTX is simple, thanks to an automotive-grade rack and pinion steering system that provides control and easy steering. The system allows operators to focus on the task at hand and get the job done fast. In addition, coil-over shocks surround the vehicle and provide improved suspension for a smooth ride that minimizes operator fatigue.

The Workman GTX comes with low-maintenance hydraulic brakes that require no cable adjustment and less pedal force for a reliable stop. This vehicle comes with either the 429 cc gasoline or 48-volt A/C electric model. At 47inches wide, the vehicle line has a narrow frame. It also allows access for working in tight areas with ease. The line has a powder-coated frame and underbody that ensures durability.

The Workman GTX will be available in spring of 2016.
