For fleet managers: Conference in Houston in March will honor Fleet Masters
The Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP) is gearing up for a major 2016 event. The AEMP 34th Annual Management Conference and Annual Meeting takes place March 15-17 in Houston, Texas. At the conference, AEMP and Construction Equipment will present the Fleet Masters awards.
Each year a panel of industry experts selects honorees that have demonstrated outstanding fleet management capabilities through finance, information, technology, innovation, workforce development, safety, supplier relations and maintenance. The association has honored one company in either the private and/or public sectors for 15 consecutive years.
This recognition is presented to outstanding equipment professionals who excel in meeting the unique challenges inherent in cost-effective, efficient and effective management of mixed fleets. Three Fleet Masters will be honored based on estimated fleet replacement value (ERV): less than $10 million ERV; $10 million ERV; $10 – $100 million ERV; and more than $100 million ERV. The competition is open to the entire industry and nominations begin in early summer.
