Utility vehicle plow offers versatility (with related video)
Use the heavy-duty winch-lift utility vehicle plow to keep walkways, paths and parking areas clean near city, school and university campuses; parks and other municipal areas. Worcester, Mass.-based Curtis Industries is the manufacturer.
The plow is powder-coated for corrosion resistance. It has a silver finish that complements any color vehicle. The plow features a 72-inch wide by 19-inch high adjustable full-trip moldboard with 6-inch double-sided cutting edge for longer life. It’s designed with a 48-inch trip frame and heavy-duty springs to protect the plow and vehicle from ground obstructions.
The assembly has five locking blade angles. The A-frame locking handle makes adjusting the blade angle quick and easy for efficient plowing. Pull the handle back, angle the moldboard and push the handle back to lock. It’s simple. The unit requires no complicated hydraulic hookup or electrical connections.
Custom vehicle mount kits are available for the unit. They are designed for the John Deere Gator XUV and the Polaris Ranger XP 900. The mount kit bolts directly to the existing holes in the vehicle frame. No drilling is required. Once installed, the plow easily mounts on standard 2-inch receiver hitch.
The plow includes adjustable skid shows and reversible cutting edge for extended blade life.
