Gallery: Products that keep government-operated buildings looking good and/or save energy
Governments own and manage sizable numbers of buildings — a total of 436,000 buildings in the public assembly and public safety categories alone, says the U.S. Energy Information Administration in a recent survey. Those buildings have about 7 billion square feet of floorspace.
Government facility managers use a variety of products to keep buildings saving energy and looking good. Compressors, LED lighting, roof coatings and other building maintenance products were featured in the September 2014 Government Product News. This gallery highlights some of these products.
