Toro partners with TCPN
Equipment manufacturer The Toro Company has announced its new partnership with The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN) to offer its mowing and grounds-care equipment to government, educational and non-profit purchasing agents nationwide.
“We are pleased to partner with TCPN in this endeavor to provide top-quality equipment to public entities,” said Toro Senior Marketing Manager Paula Sliefert in the announcement. “With TCPN’s help, we look forward to serving these agencies with solutions that best fit their needs.”
TCPN, a Texas-based cooperative purchasing entity utilized by 37,000 eligible entities including non-profits and schools as well as governments, uses a competitive solicitation process conforming to applicable procurement laws and regulations. A significant portion of its revenue supports a variety of educational initiatives, including the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. According to Turf Magazine, TCPN is one of the fastest-growing cooperatives in the U.S.
“TCPN is pleased to partner with Toro on a grounds-keeping solution,” said TCPN Vice President Chris Penny in the announcement. “The entire Toro portfolio of products, including mowers, irrigation, utility vehicles and more are available through this contract.”
Toro’s contract with TCPN began Oct. 1, 2014 and will last three years.
