Procurement Ponderable
Here is a response to the last issue’s Procurement Ponderable. The scenario, provided by a group of graduate students in a public sector contract administration course at Old Dominion University, described the hypothetical Crystal Beach Public School district’s new school under construction and scheduled to open in three months at the beginning of the next school year. There is a problem with the HVAC ductwork, specifically with regard to framing, that renders it impossible for the proposed ductwork to be installed as specified in the contract.
