Intersection renovation
Oak Creek, Wis., used new soil stabilization methods to renovate a deteriorating roadway.
Dexel Avenue in Oak Creek, Wis., was in bad shape. Constantly covered with floodwaters, the roadway was deteriorating. To fix this, the city upgraded the intersection to a four-lane urban cross section with a median and turn lanes.
