Thong Cape Scooter Man – away!
While not a traditional super hero, Wisconsin police found Thong Cape Scooter Man isn’t a villain, either.
The 56-year old Madison man enjoys cruising the streets on his motorbike in a red-trimmed black cape and thong underwear. While he is a familiar local character, the scantly clad road-warrior had a brush with the law when officials at John F. Kennedy Elementary School called the police after he cruised past children walking to the bus after school, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
After the ride-by, a police sergeant had a talk with the man at his home, according to the Journal. During the investigation, the sergeant familiarized himself with him by watching some of his rides on YouTube.
“[Thong Cape Scooter Man] said he exercised poor judgment by going by the school at that time of day; it was unintentional and he just happened to be traveling through the area,” police spokesman Joel DeSpain told the Journal.
Ultimately, the city’s attorney’s office determined no laws were broken, so Thong Cape Scooter Man is free to ride another day.
