Nominate family for scholarship grant
The Bollinger Foundation is accepting nominations for its 2013 grant awards. The scholarship grants are given to families that have lost a parent or guardian who worked in public housing, community development or economic development. The grants are primarily awarded for educational expenses, including special needs education, school materials and college tuition.
To nominate an eligible family, submit an online nomination form available on the Bollinger Foundation’s website by May 17.
The Bollinger Foundation is named in memory of Steve Bollinger, who was Assistant Secretary for Community Planning and Development at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from 1981 to 1984 and passed away unexpectedly. The foundation’s main source of funding, the Bollinger Golf Tournament, will be held on June 14 at the Andrew’s Air Force Base Golf Course.
