GSA contract delivers preventive and emergency maintenance services
Emerson Network Power service offerings now can be procured through a federal government contract offered by the General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Supply Schedule 056, Building and Building Material/Industrial Services and Supplies, better known as GSA 56. The contract enables Emerson to offer preventive, emergency and electrical services through the firm’s GSA 56 contracts. Emerson is partnering with Alliance Micro, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, on the contract.
“We are excited that Alliance Micro will provide Emerson Network Power services to maintain, monitor and test the critical electrical infrastructure from service entrance switchgear to the rack. This will make it easier for government agencies to buy services authorized by the manufacturer,” said Brad Nacke, director of Emerson Network Power’s Liebert government business in North America. “Alliance Micro has good experience in providing Liebert air and power products for data center and network applications, and we can now augment their offerings to include project management and other services.”
Working with Alliance Micro, Emerson Network Power offers customers several professional services including:
·Electrical maintenance and testing services based on NETA recommendations and specifications.
·Site acceptance testing and commissioning
·Electrical engineering services, including short circuit and coordination, arc flash hazard analysis, and power systems studies.
·Preventive maintenance services, including infrared testing and online partial discharge testing.
·Preventive, corrective and testing services for critical power, distribution, precision cooling and battery systems.
