Fleet management trade show is just around the corner
Next month, from April 9-12, the NAFA Fleet Management Association (NAFA) stages the NAFA 2011 Institute & Expo (I&E) in Charlotte, N.C., at the Charlotte Convention Center. NFL Hall of Fame coach and NASCAR owner Joe Gibbs will provide the keynote address at the NAFA I&E. This site has the detailed NAFA I&E program.

Doing More With Less: The Challenges of Government Fleet Managers
Tuesday, April 12
Attendees at the session will learn:
- How to handle the added workload and cost that has been generated by stretching lifecycles related to shop operations
- How to handle the added workload without additional staff
- How to find new revenue sources and creative ways to save money without hindering fleet service levels
- How to keep service levels high and meet customers’ expectations along with helping reduce their cost
The National Conference of State Fleet Administrators (NCSFA) will co-locate its annual conference at the NAFA event.
NCSFA activities at the NAFA I&E include:
- Attendee/vendor welcome reception (Friday, April 8 at 6:00 p.m.)
- Tee-shirt swap (Saturday, April 9 at 5:00 p.m.)
