The EZ Launch port system — designed for safety in boarding, launching and recovering kayaks and canoes — now includes the EZ Launch Accessible Transfer System to provide individuals with disabilities accessibility that exceeds the minimum requirements of the ADA. The system uses a roller and guide rail to allow users of all ability levels to glide on and off the launch, and provides foot space on both sides for access and stability. A transfer bench offers a selection of variable heights for transfer from different wheelchairs and two transfer slide boards to accommodate different watercraft heights.
