Flow meter eliminates need to perform complex conversions
Advanced B2800 Flow Monitor will take customer’s gas turbine meter’s calibration factor (pulses/actual cu. ft. in 14.73 psia and 60 F) and convert to standard cu. ft. when users enter their process pressures (psig) and temperatures. Includes compensations for temperature and pressure, eliminating need to perform complex conversions. Inputs are keypad-entered and obviously fixed with no other I/Os. K-factor in pulses per actual cu. ft., operating pressure and operating temperature are user’s only requirements. Microprocessor-based electronics feature more than 50 combinations for rate and 13 units total, which can be displayed in different units. Mounting configurations include a NEMA 4X enclosure in a meter, remote, swivel and panel mount as well as a hand-held and explosionproof mount. Uses a standard alkaline D-size battery. Loop-powered versions also are available. Blancett, a div. of Racine Federated Inc., Racine, Wis.
