The Hamilton County, Tenn., Commission has some questions for the county’s trustee following the trustee’s termination of two veteran office employees. The county commission chairman has asked the county attorney to write a letter instructing the trustee not to allow the county’s back-tax attorney to work in the trustee’s office, and another commissioner has criticized the employees’ termination, according to the Times Free Press. Trustee Carl Levi’s assistant says the back tax attorney has his own office, and the two employees were not fired to make room for him.
