Two upscale hotels have been added to plans for a development project in downtown Los Angeles and is said to be a major part of redeveloping the area. The 124-room, five-star Ritz-Carlton and the four-star Marriott Marquis, along with 216 luxury condos, will be part of L.A. Live, a 27-acre sports-entertainment complex, according to the Los Angeles Times. Officials hope that L.A. Live and the hotels will bring more conventions to the city.
