Tester kit measures harmful gases in air
CMS Emergency Response Kit automatically measures hazardous gases in the air. Analyzer uses detector tubes inside credit card-sized chip. Takes air samples of particular chemical being measured. Color change is calculated with photo-optical system, eliminating human interpretation. Gas levels are typically analyzed in 1 to 2 mins. Concentration level, with with accuracy of 4 to 10%, is indicated on l.c.d. display. Unit requires no calibration. Electronic and leak checks are performed before each measurement for accurate results. Unit runs on 4 AA batteries. Delivers about 100 measurements per battery charge. Optional remote sampler is ideal for confined space applications. Kit contains analyzer, accessories, and 10 chips to test for ammonia, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, chlorine, petroleum hydrocarbons, and other gases.
