The City of Alpharetta, Georgia is conducting a search for a Public Relations Manager. Alpharetta is a progressive surburban community located approximately 22 miles north of Atlanta.
DUTIES:
> Plan, manage, organize and direct the City of Alpharetta’s information and communications programs. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and monitoring communication strategy, programs, and methods.
QUALIFICATIONS:
> Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field with a high level knowledge of media relations.
> Seven or more years of experience in professional or managerial level media relations, government relations and community relations.
> Spokesperson responsibilities for a complex public or private organization.
