Advertisment and Request for Letters of Interest
Letter of interest will be received by the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Hialeah, Florida, 501 Palm Avenue, Hialeah, Fl 33012 until 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 27th, 2002 at which time all letters of interest will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers, 3rd Floor, for furnishing the following:
UTILITY (WATER, SEWER, SOLID WASTE) BILLING SYSTEM L.O.I. 2002-001
A copy of the desired features of the billing system may be obtained at the Purchasing Office, City Hall, 501 Palm Avenue, 3rd Floor, Hialeah, FL 33010, or by calling (305) 883-5846, or by e-mail [email protected].
Letters of interest must address the vendorÕs experience with utility billing systems for 50,000 or more accounts; list similar systems and contact persons for systems installed and completed within the last five years; discuss readily available off-the-shelve systems and discuss staff experience and availability. You are requested to list similar (in complexity and size) and most recent installations with publicly-owned utilities within the State of Florida.
The city will grant oral interviews to the five highest ranked vendors based on the written letters of interest submitted. The City will subsequently issue an invitation for proposals.
The City of Hialeah reserves the right to reject any and all letters of interest, or to waive the requirements for proposals at any time and at the sole discretion of the City.
*The final date to submit written questions is August 20th, 2002, one week prior to submittal date. All questions and answers will be given to all vendors on record in writing.
