Shrimp boats in the fog

Susan Riley, administrative assistant to Calhoun County, Texas, Judge Michael Pfeifer, took this photo at the Port Lavaca Harbor early one morning last fall. The boats were docked, waiting for the fog to lift before heading out for a day of shrimping. Calhoun County is a coastal community, and shrimp boats are a common sight at the docks and in the water.
