Jim Gorski, landscape specialist for the North Kansas City, Mo., Public Works Department's Building and Grounds Division, captured this image of various ornamental grasses planted at Macken Park. The 60-acre park includes three baseball/softball fields, two soccer fields, six tennis courts, three public restroom buildings, two basketball courts, four racquetball courts, a one-mile asphalt walking trail, a one-half mile roller-blading trail, and two playgrounds.
