Dan Hughes, senior project manager for Forest City Residential Group, took this photo at a “Topping Out” event for a 15-story mixed-use community in Dallas. The project is part of the historic preservation/adaptive reuse project in downtown Dallas known as Mercantile Place on Main, a public/private partnership between Dallas and Forest City. The "topping out" marks the last beam being placed at the top of a building.
