Where the alligators roam

Roger Belknap, transportation planner for the Kent County, Mich., Road Commission, veered off the beaten path to snap this photograph on vacation in "Bayou Country" last week. While on an airboat ride through a swamp near Jean Lafitte, La., he spotted alligators as well as plenty of Spanish moss-covered trees.
