Water, water everywhere
Peoria, Ill., has contracted with Alpharetta, Ga.-based MACTEC to develop a long-term control plan for the city's sewer system.
The Portland, Ore., Water Bureau has contracted with New York-based PB, formerly Parsons Brinckerhoff, to help manage the replacement of a major water supply pipeline.
Vienna, Ga., has contracted with Denver-based CH2M HILL OMI to operate and maintain the city's wastewater treatment system. Quincy, Fla., also has contracted with the company to operate its water and wastewater plants and lift stations. Live Oak, Fla., has contracted with the company to manage its water and wastewater facilities along with its spray field. Farmington, N.M, has renewed its contract with the company to operate and maintain the city's water and wastewater system. And, Dallas, Ore., has expanded an existing contract with the company from helping to manage the city's wastewater plant to providing complete operations and maintenance services.
Stockton, Calif., has contracted with Cambridge, Mass.-based CDM to integrate the city's surface water and groundwater management efforts and develop a supplemental water supply for the city.
