Maryland Transportation Authority, North Texas Tollway Authority, South Carolina Department of Transportation, and Los Angeles County contracted with PB; Portage, Ohio, Area Regional Transportation Authority contracted with CDW Government; Massachusetts Turnpike Authority contracted with Citilog

The Maryland Transportation Authority has contracted with New York-based PB, formerly known as Parsons Brinckerhoff, to provide construction management and inspection services on an on-call basis. The North Texas Tollway Authority has contracted with the company to manage construction of new toll roads. The South Carolina Department of Transportation has contracted with the company to design a $76 million roadway improvement project in Horry County. Los Angeles County has contracted with the firm to develop a regional congestion pricing plan.

The Portage, Ohio, Area Regional Transportation Authority contracted with Vernon Hills, Ill.-based CDW Government to design a computer hardware solution to improve driver productivity and internal communications across the 500-square-mile bus system. As a result, the authority has installed Panasonic Toughbooks in its 56-bus fleet to relay information to drivers and to track bus locations.

The Massachusetts Turnpike Authority has contracted with Paris, France-based Citilog to integrate its video surveillance system with more than 200 security cameras in Boston tunnels.
