The City of Oshkosh is accepting applications for a Street, Sanitation, Garage Superintendent in the Department of Public Works. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of street/utility maintenance and construction. This individual is responsible for the operation of the Street, Sanitation and Central Garage Divisions which employ a staff of 70 people. Responsibilities include directing programs/projects related to asphalt or concrete pavement repair, storm/sanitary sewer maintenance, solid waste collection, vehicle maintenance, and snow removal. Requires Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, public administration or related field with five (5) years experience in a supervisory position and a thorough working knowledge of the practices, procedures and regulations of a municipal public works operation. Salary range is $64,480 - $82,810.
