Public Workshop to Solicit Input on the Proposed Scope of Work for the 4th California Climate Assessment

The State of California will be holding a public workshop Aug. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon to discuss a proposed scope of work for the 4th California Climate Assessment. The assessment will develop original, regionally-relevant climate research to support California's continued leadership on actions to address climate change and safeguard our state's people, economy, and resources.

A copy of the proposed scope of work and directions on how to submit comments are all available here. Any questions may be directed to J.R. DeLaRosa, special assistant for climate, at or 916-653-6333. Those who need special accomodations for the workshop or need this document in an alternative format (e.g. Braille or large print), please contact DeLaRosa as soon as possible, but no later than five business days before the scheduled meeting.
