The Computer Voice Stress Analyzer (CVSA) II uses advanced mathematical algorithms and a built-in learning feature to recognize, evaluate, categorize and score voice patterns for stress levels that can indicate “deception” or “no deception” in crime suspects. Company says CVSA can replace the traditional polygraph and its technology for interrogation of suspects of violent crime, molestation and theft, and for employee screening. Previously restricted to law enforcement, CVSA is now available for some commercial applications. National Institute for Truth Verification (NITV), West Palm Beach, Fla.
