Skid-mounted sprayer applies anti-icing or de-icing chemicals
Ice Control Sprayer ICS-300 fits in bed of pickup truck. Allows application of liquid chemicals to roadways, parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and other outdoor surfaces. Compared to conventional road salt (sodium chloride), liquid chemicals remain effective in colder temperatures (down to -25 F.); can be applied up to 1 week before storm strikes; reduce corrosion to surfaces; and cause less harm to surrounding vegetation. Sprayer features 300-gal. tank, mounted on a skid frame. Onboard pump boasts output of 190 g.p.m. and can be refilled from storage tank. Runs on 5-hp. gas engine. Options include electric-start engine, spray gun and 75 ft. of hose (for use in areas not accessible by vehicle), and nozzle booms that attach to trailer receiver hitch. Select from various nozzles that spray in fan, straight, or other patterns, including boomless nozzles that spray 3 lanes at a time. User can change nozzles in secs. for anti-icing or de-icing needs, as well as for low-speed or highway applications. Product line also includes Ice Control Sprayers with capacities ranging from 30 to 1,600 gals. Can be equipped with controllers to automatically adjust the spray.
